NIGERIA FUEL CRISIS

The  new Nigeria administrations is confronted with major unparallel energy crisis. Observing the trend little do people know about available alternatives. investigating further, those alternative available fuels are surprisely more expensive than  the PMS, and one of the most expensive in Africa.

Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) from ZTEN, used mostly in transportation and from waste dump/biogas is a major alternative to petroleum base CNG and there is plentiful. We use mobile transport trailers to transport the natural gas to CNG stations where it is dispense into dualized vehicles.

CNG from Bio-mass source is much cheaper and one of the ideal gases one can use. Once compressed, the gas is stored and distributed at a significantly lower cost compare to petrol (PMS) or diesel (AGO).

For all you know, we could gas all day about Bio-Gas, Compressed and Liquefied Natural Gas (CNG/LNG), but for now these are seriously one of the most viable means of decarbonising transport operations, and we are making huge in-roads to shrinking carbon emissions in Nigeria

The Nigeria Government Policy

They promote gas utilisation as if they are the publicity agency, but provide no incentives to entrepreneurs with the drive participation, in the sector activities. There is no publicity on gas utilizations or training the public how to  interface with fiscal support through a range of different projects enablers.

Fuel Pricing

CNG enjoys a significant price advantage over traditional liquid fuels and LPG. Fuel prices on a per litre equivalent basis as of 1st June 2023 official prices are:

Petrol NGN 511.00

Diesel NGN 745.00

Kerosene 340.00

CNG NGN 115.00 (ZTEN price)

LPG NGN 9300.00

In case of  large haulage company, considering CNG as an operational fuel, it cost roughly half the price of diesel.

Refuelling Infrastructure

We started constructing CNG refuelling station network and the

only company in Nigeria that promote CNG and first all-purpose CNG Fuelling Station with, 43 planned with three mother stations and a total of over 180 dispensers. Almost of these Stations will be supply from our Virtual Pipeline Truck because there is no natural gas pipeline in most of the region we service.

The total number of sites planned to cover Nigeria is expected to increase to 185 by the end of 2025 and 400 by 2030 some franchise.
